TV news report on the exhibition. Produced by Renato Guerra, 2021 Paula Rego and her Contemporaries is an exhibition of Portuguese artists in the UK organised by the Embassy of Portugal in London. The exhibition was held in collaboration with the 12 Star Gallery to celebrate Portugal’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2021 and will see the artists - Ana Palma and Cliff Andrade, chosen by way of an open call, exhibit their work alongside prints contributed by Paula Rego herself. This exhibition invites us to look back at the past from an evolutionary perspective, establishing a dialogue with the selected artists. It was curated by Mara Alves and has the support of Camões I.P.
